Community
Connections

Mobilizing communities around a social movement is all about making connections - building relationships. Asset building is spreading widely and deeply throughout Colorado and nationwide. Our network of asset-builders has grown and now represents over 2,000 individuals and organizations supporting positive youth development.

Asset champions are emerging daily in this movement for social change. As communities and organizations integrate an asset-based framework, they value networking with other asset champions to coordinate efforts or learn new asset building approaches.

THE POWER OF PARTNERING
As funding becomes harder to find, community service organizations are relying on creativity and partnerships to leverage opportunities and move their work forward. In this section we highlight and explore the positive impact partnerships can have on an initiative, and ways some organizations have used relationships to maintain, and in some instances expand, their level of service in the community. We also provide connections to statewide and nationwide partners and asset-builders in the interest of promoting collaboration between organizations and individuals in support of youth.
