Executive Director

Stephanie's strong presence in communities across Colorado, as well as in many states, enables her to carry on ACY's work.

"Stephanie is a highly capable leader, and her effectiveness in the asset movement across Colorado is widely recognized," said Board President Steve DelCastillo.

Stephanie has been involved with Colorado's asset-building communities since the mid-90s and currently oversees asset training and technical assistance for a wide variety of audiences and communities.

A Colorado native, Stephanie received her degree from Arizona State University and has been working in diverse communities to promote positive youth development for more than 15 years.

Her professional background includes expertise in nonprofit and school-based program development and implementation, grant writing, facilitation, and training.

Before coming to ACY, Stephanie served as the founding project coordinator for Aurora's Contributing Teens, an asset-based youth leadership project for middle school students in Colorado's third-largest city.

Stephanie and her husband, Art, enjoy outdoor family time with their two daughters.
