Corey Jones,

Corey was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Denver in 1992. He is a seasoned actor and performer. He has worked with the Kaiser Permanente Educational Theater Programs, Imagination Makers Theater Company, and Opera Colorado.

At ACY he trains adult and youth mentors at such agencies as Volunteers of America, Summer Scholars, Denver Public Schools, and University of Colorado's Pre-Collegiate Program. He is a keynote speaker at the 2005 Search Institute National Conference.

"I choose to do 'assets' work because it represents a complete philosophy change in how we raise and 'build up' children in this nation. Assets focus on what is good and true, and constantly remind us that ALL children and adolescents are valuable to our community."

Corey has two daughters, Kellsie and Trinity.
